On February 3, the Uong Bi City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision of the City Party Committee Executive Committee on the establishment of Party Committees under the city and the establishment of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Accordingly, the Uong Bi City Party Committee approved the decision to establish the Uong Bi City Party Committee of Party Agencies directly under the Uong Bi City Party Committee, on the basis of merging Party organizations, including: Party cells directly under the City Party Committee's Party Committee; Party cells of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the city; Party cells of the People's Procuracy; Party cells of the City People's Court; Party members working at the Standing Committee of the City People's Council. The Uong Bi City Party Committee of Party Agencies has a total of 97 party members.

The Uong Bi City Party Committee approved the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Nguyen Chien Thang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, was appointed as Secretary of the Party Committee of the City Party Agencies.

The Uong Bi City Party Committee approved the decision to establish the City People's Committee Party Committee directly under the Uong Bi City Party Committee on the basis of arranging and restructuring the Party cells directly under the City Government Party Committee and merging the Party organizations including: Yen Tu National Forest Relic Management Board Party Committee; Central Market Management Board Party Committee; Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center Party Committee, with a total of 309 Party members.

The Uong Bi City Party Committee approved the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City People's Committee Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Pham Tuan Dat, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, was appointed as Secretary of the Uong Bi City Party Committee.

The Uong Bi City Party Committee approved the decision to establish the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee on the basis of merging the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee with the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; announced decisions on personnel work. Comrade Hoang Quoc Trung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Director of the City Political Center, holds the position of Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee from February 3, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Mai Vu Tuan, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, affirmed that the arrangement and establishment of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee, the Party Committees of the City Party Committee agencies, and the Party Committee of the City People's Committee will help reduce intermediaries, help the leadership and direction of the implementation of political tasks of agencies and units to be unified and consistent. This is a necessary task, the first step of the revolution in streamlining the organizational apparatus, meeting the requirements and tasks of the country, the locality and the demands of the people in the new era.

Immediately after the announcement, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee; the Party Committees of the City Party Agencies; and the Party Committee of the City People's Committee focused on effectively implementing the political tasks. The newly established Party Committees urgently prepared well for the grassroots congresses.
