THE 3RD CONGRESS OF THE VIETNAM YOUTH UNION OF CP VIETNAM LIVESTOCK HUSBANDRY JOINT STOCK COMPANY, TERM 2024

On October 11, 2024, the Vietnam Youth Union of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Youth Union of CP Company) held the 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of CP Company, term 2024 - 2029, with the participation of 100 delegates representing more than 26,000 CP Vietnam youth working at the company's branches across the country.

Overview of the conference program.

The 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of CP Corporation, term 2024 - 2029 with the slogan "Vietnam CP Youth - Solidarity - Volunteering - Creativity - Development", is a great festival for all CP youth, the program takes place with the following main contents:

- Summary of the Association's activities and youth movement at CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (CPV) term II, 2019 - 2024;

- Proposing directions and tasks for the Association's work and the youth movement of the CPV, term III, 2024 - 2029;

- Consultation to elect the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Joint Stock Company, term III, 2024 - 2029;

- Directly elect the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Joint Stock Company, term III, 2024 - 2029;

- Exhibition space "Vietnamese Communist Youth - Solidarity - Volunteering - Creativity - Development".

This morning, in the jubilant atmosphere of the congress, the first working session of the 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, term 2024 - 2029, took place. The program was attended by Nguyen Quoc Khang - Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of CP Vietnam, Ms. Le Nhat Thuy - Chairman of the CP Vietnam Charity Support Fund and 100 delegates representing more than 26,000 CP Vietnam youth working at the company's branches across the country.

After the solemn flag-raising ceremony, the Congress conducted consultations to elect the Presidium and the Congress Secretariat. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khang - Representative of the Presidium delivered the opening speech of the Congress. Accordingly, the work of the Association and the youth movement of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company in the past time has achieved many positive results; each member and youth has constantly trained and strived to become a good citizen, living honestly, responsibly and with determination; voluntarily studying and improving knowledge; volunteering in all fields and excellently completing assigned tasks. Besides, we also have many difficulties both subjectively and objectively, and there are shortcomings and shortcomings that need to be overcome.

100 delegates representing more than 26,000 CP Vietnam youths attended the congress. The congress also listened to the Report on the results of the Association's work and the CP Company's youth movement for the 2019-2024 term; presented the directions and solutions for the Association's work and the youth movement for the new term; and the review report of the Association's Committee, term II, term 2019-2024.

The conference also announced that the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, term II, 2019 - 2024, ended its term with achievements recognizing the efforts of the collective of the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of CP Company, term II and the direct election of the Chairman of the Association for the term 2024 - 2029.

The consultative congress directly elected the President of the Association for the 2024-2029 term.

On the afternoon of October 11, 2024, the second working session - the solemn session officially began. The Congress was honored to welcome Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Solidarity Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union. On the side of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, there was Mr. Pawalit Ua-amornwanit - General Director, and senior leaders.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu, Executive Committee Member, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union Solidarity Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, gave a speech at the congress. The congress also received flower baskets in lieu of sentiments and congratulations from the Central Youth Union - Association, local agencies, and units of the Vietnam Youth Union in provinces and cities. Delegates and distinguished guests watched the reportage "CP Vietnam Youth - Gratitude to the Fatherland of Vietnam", looking back on the 5-year journey of the Association's work and the youth movement of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, term 2019-2024.

The Congress approved 12 key targets, goals, tasks and solutions for the Association's work and the youth movement of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company for the 2024 - 2029 term, including:

1. 100% of members and young people study and thoroughly understand the Resolutions of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Company; are educated in ethics, lifestyle, and patriotic traditions.

2. Propaganda on waste classification and plastic waste reduction for 100% of officers and employees in the whole company.

3. Continue to implement the project “CP Vietnam – Journey for a Green Vietnam” aiming to plant and care for 1 million trees (500 hectares of forest) by 2029.

4. Organize training courses such as "7 Habits", "Train the trainer", "12 career development skills", "Comprehensive capacity development course for middle managers", "Leadership training course", "Work Smarter & Faster With Gen AI" and "Community financial education" for 10,000 employees.

5. Organize and mobilize young people to participate in voluntary blood donation and coordinate the construction of fixed blood donation points, aiming to reach 100,000 units of blood.

6. Launching an innovation movement among Vietnamese CP youth with 200 creative projects.

7. Support at least 500 young people to start and establish businesses with many practical models to help generate additional income and stabilize their lives.

8. Coordinate with Foodbank Vietnam and related organizations to continue donating 2,000,000 meals to disadvantaged people and people in difficult circumstances.

9. Propaganda and mobilize 100% of cadres, employees and youth to raise awareness of "Preventing food loss and waste" in the fields of production, business and life.

10. Organize for 10,000 students, children of company staff, employees, partners and customers to visit and experience the company through the project "Reaching the future with CP" to help inspire passion and career orientation.

11. Propagating, launching, and supporting social security for policy families, families with meritorious services to the Revolution, and heroic Vietnamese mothers, while simultaneously organizing activities about the Source to promote patriotism, preserve and promote national cultural identity with 500 implementations and support.

12. Develop 2,000 new members (accounting for 90% of new employees recruited in the period 2024 - 2029).

Speaking at the Congress, CPV General Director Pawalit Ua – Amornwanit said: “At this 3rd Congress for the 2024 – 2029 term, I pledge that the Company will continue to accompany and support human resources and resources so that the Association can implement the plans set out. In particular, during this term, we will promote activities to combat food waste, reduce plastic waste, plant trees, and gradually green all production and business activities, accompanying the Vietnamese Government towards the goal of Net Zero by 2050. In terms of material resources, the Company pledges to support 20 billion VND so that the CPV Vietnam Youth Union can implement these projects in the next 5 years.”

The congress consulted and elected the President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Company and 35 members to the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Company, term III, 2024 - 2029. Mr. Le Hoang Chuong, Director in charge of Communications and Recruitment, was elected as President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Company. At the congress, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union presented the emulation flag to the Vietnam Youth Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Company, and presented certificates of merit to 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the association and the movement.
