Accordingly, in this period, AVAC Vietnam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company provided 1,000 doses of specialized veterinary vaccine to vaccinate 1,000 pigs in Bao Thang against African swine fever: Phong Hai Farm town supported 300 doses; Xuan Quang commune 700 doses. The total support value is 60 million VND.
With support from AVAC Vietnam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, communes and towns in Bao Thang district have also implemented many drastic measures such as regular inspection, cleaning and disinfecting barns, and increasing propaganda on disease prevention and control measures.
The vaccine support from AVAC Vietnam Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company is not only a practical action but also a manifestation of the spirit of consensus and cooperation between enterprises and local authorities in the prevention and control of African swine fever. Thereby helping the locality to control the epidemic well, contributing significantly to protecting public health and sustainable development of the livestock industry in Bao Thang district.
