Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Major General Bui Quang Thanh, Director of Nghe An Provincial Police, emphasized: During the past 76 years, with the slogan "Nghe An Police strive to compete in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings", the entire force with high determination, great efforts, overcame countless difficulties and challenges, with intelligence, courage, creativity, achieved many feats, excellently completed the tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people; worthy of being the People's Police force in the heroic Soviet homeland, the homeland of beloved President Ho Chi Minh .

Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Director of Nghe An Police reviewed some of the strong imprints of studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, associated with historical stages in the journey of construction, fighting and growing up. Entering the period of innovation, with the goal of integration and development associated with firmly ensuring national defense and security; in the new situation, with difficulties, challenges and comprehensive shifts in all fields, Nghe An Police always strives, is proactive, makes efforts, is creative, and takes the lead in the emulation movement "For National Security".

Nghe An Police vows to devote all its efforts, intelligence, solidarity, and determination to act to serve the Fatherland and the people for the cause of ensuring security and order in the area. Constantly raising revolutionary vigilance, sharpening the will to fight, always having a “pure heart and bright mind”; “great ambition”, determining that “honor is the most sacred and noble thing”; building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern Party organization and police force; a team of cadres who are good at law and sharp and knowledgeable in professional skills to meet the requirements of work in the new situation”, Major General Bui Quang Thanh emphasized.

The ceremony took place with the participation of many heroic and emotional performances.

Every word and every teaching of Uncle Ho to the People's Police remains valuable forever. Every police officer and soldier, regardless of their position, must always remember and absorb it.

General To Lam emphasized: The achievements and feats of the People's Public Security force demonstrate the solidarity, unity, great efforts, and great determination of the public security units, localities, and all officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security, including the very important contribution of the Nghe An Provincial Public Security force. Along with the process of building, developing and maturing of the People's Public Security force, the Nghe An Provincial Public Security is a unit with a long tradition, generations of officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Provincial Public Security have continuously grown and matured in all aspects, overcoming all difficulties and hardships to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, congratulated Nghe An Provincial Police on being awarded the extremely noble title: "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" by the President; at the same time, the Minister of Public Security also set many requirements and tasks for Nghe An Provincial Police.

Assigning tasks to Nghe An Provincial Police, the Minister of Public Security requested: In the coming time, Nghe An Provincial Police need to continue to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style and the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security; considering this as the guideline and motto of action of the People's Public Security force in general and Nghe An Provincial Police in particular.

The entire People's Public Security force and Nghe An Provincial Public Security must continue to maintain internal solidarity, unity in awareness, will and action, uphold the spirit of "Serving the Fatherland, serving the people", "When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there is the Public Security", always excellently completing all assigned tasks. Nghe An Public Security must "truly deserve to be a heroic unit in the heroic Soviet homeland, a place with a long history of formation and development, rich in revolutionary traditions, the homeland of beloved President Ho Chi Minh" and must be "an exemplary, pioneering, typical unit" of the People's Public Security force in studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings.
