Hoang Hoa District Police eradicated 6 complicated drug-related spots

After a period of investigation, verification and case preparation, from May 11 to May 14, 2023, Hoang Hoa District Police continuously fought and eliminated 6 complicated drug points, arrested 8 subjects illegally buying, selling and storing drugs, seized 11 packages of heroin, 16 bags of ketamine, 25 ecstasy pills and many other related exhibits.

Drug traffickers were arrested by Hoang Hoa District Police and evidence was seized.

According to investigation documents of the Investigation Police Agency of Hoang Hoa District Police, recently in the district, there has been a situation where some people undergoing methadone treatment have shown signs of colluding with each other to illegally buy and sell drugs.

Through the work of grasping the situation and investigating and verifying, on May 11, 2023, Hoang Hoa District Police established a case, fought, eliminated, and caught red-handed Hoang Van Long, born in 1990, in But Son town, Hoang Hoa district, illegally possessing 2 packages of heroin.

Expanding the investigation, Hoang Hoa District Police simultaneously arrested and urgently searched the residences of 6 subjects illegally buying, selling and storing drugs, including: Le Van Chau, born in 1990; Nguyen Danh Sinh, born in 1973, both in Hoang Dong Commune; Trinh Quang Tung, born in 1992, in Hoang Duc Commune; Luong Huu Nam, born in 1977, in Hoang Thanh Commune; Le Trong Tien, born in 1976, in Hoang Thang Commune and Bui Phuong Nam, born in 1996, in Hoang Loc Commune, Hoang Hoa District.

Searching the suspects' residence, the police seized 9 packages of heroin, 2 bags of ketamine, 4 ecstasy pills and many other related exhibits.

Most recently, on May 14, Hoang Hoa District Police caught Nguyen Tat Thang, born in 2000, in Hoang Loc Commune, selling drugs, seizing 21 ecstasy pills and 14 bags of ketamine. This subject's modus operandi was to transact with buyers on social networks, then leave the drugs in a hidden place and make an appointment for the "customer" to pick them up.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Hoang Hoa District Police has temporarily detained the above 8 subjects for further investigation and expansion.
