On May 29, 2023, Coc Coc officially introduced a pair of products integrating the GPT 3.5 Chat model into Coc Coc AI Chat and Coc Coc AI Search in the Vietnamese market.

These are the first two products in the Coc Coc AI Lab ecosystem - a research and development department for Artificial Intelligence products newly established by the company, with the goal of helping users enjoy more benefits from the digital space. Along with that, Coc Coc also wants to contribute to affirming that Vietnam is capable of mastering advanced technologies, ready to compete fairly with the world's technology giants.

Cốc Cốc AI Lab will undertake the mission of researching, developing and integrating the latest and most convenient Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology applications on Cốc Cốc Browser and Search Engine. Users will experience these applications completely free of charge.

Cốc Cốc AI Chat is a chatbot that applies a Large Language Model (LLM), developed based on the GPT 3.5 model and data from Cốc Cốc search. Thanks to that, the product is capable of providing fast, updated and accurate text answers. The product best supports the Vietnamese language and supports translating English queries to respond in Vietnamese.

The outstanding difference of this chatbot lies in its ability to understand Vietnamese and flexibly and accurately handle queries with Vietnamese cultural characteristics - a limitation of most similar products on the market. By providing natural and familiar responses, this feature can support users as a Vietnamese AI assistant.

Users can chat with Coc Coc AI Chat to get answers on a variety of topics, create content, handle language-related tasks such as summarizing, translating text, and more.

Currently, users can access this feature through access points on the Coc Coc browser. Specifically, with computer browsers, users can access it through the shortcut on the sidebar (left or right). For mobile browsers, users can access it through the shortcut on the home screen and search suggestions in the address bar. After registering to join the waiting list, Coc Coc will send a confirmation email and a notification email when Coc Coc AI Chat is ready to experience.

Cốc Cốc AI Search is a feature that provides answers by using AI to summarize content from results related to users' queries, allowing users to get results faster, more accurately and safely without having to visit multiple websites.

Instead of spending time reading and selecting information from many sources from conventional search engines, users just need to type in the content they are interested in, this feature will synthesize and summarize concise information from reputable sources in just about 2 seconds.

With local advantages and massive data sources, Coc Coc's duo of products is expected to help Vietnamese users and businesses exploit the power of AI.

However, Coc Coc said that both of these products are currently in the testing process (Beta version), so they inevitably have certain limitations such as limits on the number of users, incomplete or confusing answers because the product is still learning from a new database... Therefore, all user feedback plays an extremely important role.
