(Fatherland) - The art program "The River Tells Stories" of Trung Vuong Theater, Da Nang, won 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 certificates of merit at the National Music and Dance Festival - 2024 (phase II).
The art program "The River Tells Stories" received very good reviews from the Jury, experts, and audiences at the National Music and Dance Festival stage - 2024.
This is the recognition and appreciation of the Jury, experts, and audience at the festival stage for the actors and artists of Trung Vuong Theater, Da Nang. In the photo, on behalf of the leaders of Da Nang city, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang Pham Tan Xu commended the collective of Trung Vuong Theater, on the afternoon of October 19.
To bring art closer to the public, the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang in collaboration with Trung Vuong Theater organized the performance “The River Tells Stories” on the afternoon of October 19 at Trung Vuong Theater. The performance was open to the public and attracted many locals and tourists.
"The River Tells Stories" is directed by the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City; Meritorious Artist Quang Hao - Director of Trung Vuong Theater Da Nang directs the art, script and general director.
The art program "Storytelling River" combines a variety of singing, dancing and music, recreating the beauty of life and cultural characteristics of Da Nang on the Han River with an emotional and creative art space.
"The Storytelling River" carries the memories of time, of the Han River that has witnessed the history of the city, endlessly telling stories of the past and present.
From gentle waves to powerful currents, from simple stilt houses to sturdy bridges, the river tells its own story – about people, about culture, about the transformation of the riverside city.
"The River Tells Stories" consists of 2 parts. Part 1 is "Old Stories" with the following works: Dance "Love each other"; female solo "The River is not cold"; male choir "Boats going up and down"; dance "Moon in the house"; ensemble "Water from the source"; male solo "Han River Wind"; female choir "Snail's breast"; female solo "Apsara dancer by the Han River"; male solo "Love father".
Part two of "Today's Story" includes: Dance "Han Market"; Acapella "Immense Son Tra"; ensemble "Cua Bien"; duet "Ngau hung bai choi"; singing and dancing "Da Nang in our hearts".
These works show the strong transformation of Da Nang in the modern context, from economic development to vibrant tourism. The audience is led through each stage, feeling the breakthrough of the young city.
"The program combines a variety of singing, dancing and music, recreating the beauty of life and cultural characteristics of Da Nang along the Han River with an emotional and creative artistic space. Trung Vuong Theater Da Nang hopes that "The Storytelling River" will not only touch the hearts of the audience but also affirm its own unique artistic mark," said Meritorious Artist Quang Hao.
