Totoro and the Ghibli universe meet Vietnamese readers on the pages of books

On the afternoon of August 24, the Kim Dong Publishing House fanpage informed that the unit has officially copyrighted the title Tonari No Totoro by author Hayao Miyazaki, co-founder of Studio Ghibli.

A representative of Kim Dong Publishing House told Tuoi Tre Online that the book was published in Vietnam in 4 volumes, in the anime comics genre (comics based on cartoons).

"The publisher is also planning to exploit other titles and is currently waiting for Studio Ghibli's confirmation," the representative added.

Looking forward to Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle

Many Studio Ghibli fans are excited and looking forward to this book. Because the original film My Neighbor Totoro is one of the works that made the name of legendary director Hayao Miyazaki.

Totoro is also the mascot of Studio Ghibli and is recognized as one of the most famous characters in Japanese animation.
