At the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man conveyed warm regards from General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Cuong.
The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam are extremely pleased and highly appreciate the recent state visit of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, considering this a new milestone of historical significance, a bright spot in the relationship between the two Parties and two countries in 2025, and at the same time of strategic nature and long-term orientation for the development of Vietnam-China relations.
The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the relationship between the two countries has made remarkable progress in recent times, with political trust between the two Parties and countries increasingly strengthened, the cooperation mechanism between the two sides increasingly comprehensive, rich, and effective, and the cooperation between the two legislative bodies increasingly close; the Vietnamese National Assembly is currently actively arranging the first meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee of the two countries, and looks forward to welcoming Chairman Trieu Lac Te to Vietnam to co-chair this important conference.
Chairman Zhao Leji conveyed the greetings of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to the senior leaders of Vietnam; agreed that the two sides should continue to maintain regular strategic exchanges between the leaders of the two Parties and two countries, implement the results achieved during the visit to Vietnam of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping; and at the same time, further deepen cooperation between the two legislative bodies.
The two sides expressed their delight that the two countries' senior leaders will attend the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day, and the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people's victory over fascism.
