In his speech at the Real Madrid Board of Directors, President Florentino Perez created a stir when he suddenly denounced and criticized the violations of La Liga and UEFA.

First, he spoke about Real Madrid's financial difficulties: "Football is going through an unprecedented institutional crisis. The situation is very serious. Therefore, we are forced to stand up and fight or accept being wiped out. That is why the Super League project is more necessary than ever.
Kodak went bankrupt because it didn't know how to adapt. Nokia and Erikson lost their leadership for the same reason. Crisis can happen in any field. Football is no exception."
The head of Real Madrid bluntly "attacked" La Liga: "The La Liga organization has stripped and attacked the assets of clubs like Real Madrid. The organization intends to strip the assets of a club with 100,000 members, causing us to suffer.
First, they took away 11% of the TV rights for 50 years. Then, La Liga also wanted to change the law on the length of the club president's term. Fortunately, the Spanish court declared these illegal."

What Perez is referring to is the August 2023 agreement between La Liga and the International Monetary Fund (CVC) on the fund injecting 3.2 billion USD into La Liga. In return, CVC will hold 11% of the tournament's television and commercial rights for 50 years. However, top clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona have objected.
"Boss" Perez continued to attack La Liga: "This organization has set a roadmap to seize Real Madrid's assets and eliminate us. I want to thank the political parties, mainly the two largest ones, for not supporting their actions.
In the coming months, I will work to put in place a structure that protects and safeguards the economic assets belonging to Real Madrid and its partners. That will allow Real Madrid to defend itself against expropriation. We will establish institutions so that Real Madrid truly belongs to its members.
Today, I stand here to tell you the truth. That is, La Liga wants to seize the club's assets. Everyone here must take responsibility to protect their assets. I emphasize that the members are the owners of Real Madrid. Stand up to protect the club."
President Perez also publicly accused UEFA of being "unethical" and trying to extort money from fans (Photo: UEFA).
Before President Perez's statement, La Liga President Javier Tebas spoke out in protest: "Mr. Perez said false things, distorting the content of judicial resolutions in La Liga. Other clubs have the right to respect like Real Madrid.
These clubs have spoken out about why Real Madrid is not on the La Liga Delegate Committee, a very important organization in Spain. It is because Real Madrid only acts in their own interests. Mr. Perez always tells other clubs that they have been deceived by La Liga. This is completely untrue. It is an insult to other clubs and La Liga."
In addition to criticizing La Liga, the Real Madrid president also publicly criticized UEFA over the Super League. He said: "The Super League has been subjected to manipulation and misinformation campaigns, which forced us to abandon this project.
Our only goal is to improve the quality of European football and there are no special privileges for elite clubs. Next year, UEFA decided to reform the Champions League with an unusual format. It's all for them to take money from the people.
UEFA makes people pay 100 euros, 10% of the minimum wage, to watch football on TV. UEFA has never thought about the interests of the fans. European football does not belong to UEFA, just as Spanish football does not belong to the corrupt President of La Liga.
European clubs are being outshone by their American counterparts. Look at the Forbes money list and the top 10 richest sports clubs are almost all in the US. The Americans are definitely doing very well and we are doing something very wrong."
