On the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917 - November 7, 2024), the entire City Party Committee has 6,363 Party members who were awarded the Party Badge, of which the Dong Da District Party Committee is the Party Committee with the largest number of Party members receiving the Badge with 531 comrades, including: 3 comrades receiving the 80-year Party membership badge; 6 comrades receiving the 75-year Party membership badge; 4 comrades receiving the 70-year Party membership badge.

Moved to receive the 80-year Party membership badge, party member Le Thi Boong (born in 1930, currently active in the Lang Ha Ward Party Committee) thanked the City Party Committee and Dong Da District Party Committee for their attention to veteran party members.

Veteran Party member Le Thi Boong affirmed that the Party Badge is an extremely noble reward of the Party recognizing the contributions, sacrifices and dedication to the Party, the homeland and the country of Party members. She herself is always proud and continues to contribute to building her homeland to become more and more prosperous and civilized.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan congratulated the veteran party members who are active in the Party Committees of Dong Da District Party Committee and affirmed that the awarding of the noble Party Badge is an honor and pride not only for each individual party member and their family, but also a common joy and pride for the Party cells, Party Committees of wards, Dong Da District Party Committee and the entire City Party Committee.

According to Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, the awarding of the noble Party Badge demonstrates the recognition and respect of the Party, State and People for the important contributions of veteran Party members to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; to the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam. The efforts, training, dedication and maturity of veteran Party members contribute to the continuous growth of our Party, our people and our Fatherland.

"Over the years, despite different ages and strengths, different work positions, economic conditions, and family circumstances, you have joined hands and joined forces with the entire Party and people to make worthy contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; building the Capital and Dong Da district to constantly develop, become civilized, and modern" - Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan emphasized.

The Chairman of the City People's Council hopes that veteran Party members will continue to promote their revolutionary ethics, pioneering and exemplary spirit, and with their extensive experience, actively encourage their children and grandchildren to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; participate in Party building and local government building; and foster and educate the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation to follow.

Acknowledging the results in Party building, political system, activities of the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Dong Da district which have been continuously consolidated and implemented methodically, with many innovations and effectiveness, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan requested the District Party Committee to continue to promote traditions and the spirit of solidarity and determination. Proactively grasp and make good use of opportunities and advantages, promptly overcome limitations and difficulties, to focus on leadership, direction and comprehensive completion of goals and targets for 2024 and the entire term.

At the same time, the leaders of Dong Da district, the leaders of wards and Party cells are requested to continue to pay attention to the material and spiritual life of party members, especially veteran party members.
