This is the second conference jointly organized by the State Bank of Vietnam Provincial Branch after training for 85 people's credit funds in the area to help credit institutions proactively prevent, stop and effectively handle situations of theft and robbery at transaction locations. The training contents include: Learning about bank robbery crimes; procedures for handling bank robbery crime situations; characteristics, signs, and causes of bank robbery crimes; analyzing some recent bank robbery cases nationwide; current situation and causes of bank robberies; solutions to prevent and handle bank robbery crime situations; technical measures to prevent and handle bank robbery crime situations.

Along with organizing the training conference, the State Bank of Vietnam Provincial Branch also issued Official Dispatch No. 374/THB-THNS dated June 23, 2023 on strengthening measures to ensure security and safety of banking headquarters; on that basis, credit institutions in the area are required to strengthen security work at transaction locations and on transportation routes; arrange sufficient necessary security forces, ensure 24/7 security at headquarters; invest in facilities, vehicles, and equip necessary support tools for on-site security forces; use modern equipment such as surveillance cameras, anti-intrusion alarm systems, connecting the alarm system between transaction locations and the nearest police agency, etc.
