Welcoming the first "Giap Thin 2024" babies

On the eve of the Lunar New Year 2024, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan and Ms. Angela Pratt, Chief Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Vietnam, visited and encouraged doctors and patients of the Central Maternity Hospital.

Welcoming the first

At the Central Maternity Hospital, Minister Dao Hong Lan sent New Year wishes to all staff, doctors and nurses of the hospital and health workers across the country for a new year with new efforts and new successes, together with the Ministry of Health to better serve the cause of people's health care.

"Spring is the season of growth. On New Year's Eve, we came to the Central Maternity Hospital to welcome babies born in the first hour of the year of the Dragon 2024, which symbolizes development. I wish all babies born across the country to grow up quickly and have many developments in the future," Minister Dao Hong Lan expressed.

Minister of Health wishes a happy new year and gives gifts to patients of the Central Maternity Hospital

The Minister of Health also said that WHO always accompanies and supports the Vietnamese Government and the Ministry of Health.

"We wish Ms. Angela Pratt and WHO much success in their work, good luck and happiness in the new year," said Minister Dao Hong Lan.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh, Director of the Central Maternity Hospital, on New Year's Eve, there were 180 medical staff on duty to take care of the health of 250 patients.
