Ms. Khanh Vy (lane 7 Giang Van Minh) said: "My family has not found a house for the whole family to move to because the relocation announcement is too urgent. The family wants to rent near the old house to conveniently monitor the house, but it is very difficult to find a house to rent for about 3-4 months. There is a baby in the house, so the whole family's life is disrupted and difficult."

"My family was affected on February 18 and has been moving since then. The local government and the contractor have provided support for the people. We have just received a subsidy to buy food and drinks. We just hope that the parties will fix the problem and return the house to its original state so that we can live in peace," Ms. Xuyen confided.

According to the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB - the investor), before starting construction, the investor requested the contractor to purchase third-party liability insurance. As soon as signs of impact were detected, the insurance company conducted a survey, assessment and statistics to compensate for damaged houses, if any. "The project is committed to continuing to closely monitor the situation, listen to people's opinions and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure safety and transparency in the incident handling process" - MRB representative affirmed.

Previously, on the afternoon of February 20, while digging an underground tunnel for the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway project, liquid mud overflowed and sprayed onto the road surface at Alley 7, Giang Van Minh Street. The incident caused many sections of Alley 7, Giang Van Minh Street to be deeply flooded, and traffic was blocked. The incident was resolved a day later. The investor said that this was an additive from the underground tunnel digging process sprayed from unsealed sewer pipes, and the liquid mud is not toxic to humans and the environment.
