Airports expected to welcome 2.4 million passengers on April 30 and May 1 holidays

The peak holiday of April 30 and May 1 this year is a 5-day holiday from April 30 to May 4.

Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) expects to serve about 2.4 million passengers during the peak period from April 29 to May 4.

Airports with high passenger volume include Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang , Phu Quoc, Cam Ranh, Phu Bai, Phu Cat, Lien Khuong and Con Dao.

ACV has issued a directive requiring its affiliated units to ensure operational safety, service quality and coordination in counter-terrorism work and aviation security on this occasion.

Passengers are advised to check in early and use online check-in, especially at Tan Son Nhat airport - where Vietnam Airlines will move domestic flights to terminal T3 from April 28.

In particular, Vietnam Airlines flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao, Rach Gia, Ca Mau and flights operated by Pacific Airlines, VASCO and airlines Vietjet , Bamboo Airways, Vietravel Airlines will still be operated at terminal T1 as at present.

The Civil Aviation Authority also requested airlines to arrange resources and increase flights to meet travel needs during the holidays.
