According to the report, Hamlet 3, Minh Quan Commune has 152 households with 592 people, including 6 ethnic groups. Over the years, the people of Hamlet 3 have always promoted the tradition of solidarity and creativity, actively participated in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, focused on implementing resolutions of Party congresses at all levels; created social consensus to carry out socio-economic development tasks, ensure national defense and security, build and consolidate the great national unity bloc.

The Village Front Working Committee always focuses on implementing the principles and motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect and people benefit"; mobilizing people to actively compete in labor production, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; building hygienic works, treating wastewater in livestock and production; using hygienic water; carrying out the cleaning of landscapes, environment, village roads, alleys; planting and taking care of flower roads to create a bright, green, clean and beautiful environment.

In 2024, the village mobilized people to build 800 m of concrete road from the village main road to the hamlets; maintained 7 km of lighting lines, installed and operated with capital contributed by the people; took care of 4 flower roads with a length of 2.5 km. The self-management groups in the village always uphold the spirit of self-management of security and order, self-awareness, voluntary labor to clean the environment, classify, collect and treat household waste at the source so that the village roads and alleys are always bright, green, clean and beautiful. The village no longer has poor or near-poor households.

Through evaluation, 100% of the mass organizations have excellently completed their tasks, 5/6 self-management groups have excellently completed their tasks in 2024; 147/152 households have been evaluated, reaching 96.7% of households achieving the title of cultural family, learning family, happy family. In the village, there are 12 households voluntarily donating over 2000 m2 of land, typically Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nga's household donated 243 m2, Mr. Nguyen Trung Lap's household donated 250 m2, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lang's household donated 652 m2 to build public works and rural roads.

Locality "outstanding in environmental landscape"

Expressing his joy at attending the National Great Unity Day with the people of Village 3, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Do Duc Duy said that the delegation was very excited to witness the "change of skin, change of flesh" of the commune and village with green - clean - beautiful village roads and alleys, spacious houses, feeling the radiance and joy on the faces of the people.

The Minister affirmed that this was the result of the continuous efforts to develop the local socio-economy; the result of the spirit of solidarity and the joint efforts of each villager and commune member for the highest goal of making the village and hamlet more beautiful, the environment cleaner and life more peaceful, prosperous and happy.

In particular, the good qualities and noble deeds of the people were further demonstrated during the recent difficult times, when Yen Bai province, Tran Yen district and specifically Minh Quan commune had to suffer the heavy impact of Storm No. 3 (YAGI), causing damage to both people and property.

Minister Do Duc Duy acknowledged that in the disaster, the authorities at all levels and the Fatherland Front of the commune and village promptly responded and overcame the consequences during and after the storm; organized the reception and distribution of 1.6 billion VND in cash, 17 tons of goods, necessities and 17 tons of rice to each person and each household to ensure that no one lacked food and drinking water. Mobilized 4 on-site human resources with nearly 2,000 working days and machinery to closely coordinate with other forces to urgently overcome the consequences of the storm, organize places to eat, stay, restore traffic, healthcare, communications, schools... to help people soon stabilize their lives.

Sharing with the people, Minister Do Duc Duy was impressed that after 2 months since Storm No. 3 devastated the locality, the authorities at all levels and the people have restored their daily lives, returning the green, clean, and beautiful environment that this place originally had.

As the head of the natural resources and environment sector, Minister Do Duc Duy said that in the process of socio-economic development and new rural construction, there will be challenges in environmental protection, especially the rural environment. "I really appreciate the goals and development orientation of the people of Minh Quan commune, which is typical in economic development, typical in preserving national cultural identity and is also a commune that has achieved the title of "Outstanding in environmental landscape" - Minister Do Duc Duy shared.

The goal is people's happiness

Talking to the authorities at all levels of Yen Bai in general and the people of Minh Quan in particular, Minister Do Duc Duy affirmed that the Party, the State and the entire people always strive to build a society of rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization; owned by the people; people have a prosperous, free and happy life, with conditions for comprehensive development.
