Thuy Thanh 1 Kindergarten (Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien Hue province) is one of the schools that was deeply flooded in the recent flood, floodwaters inundated teaching equipment, playgrounds and left behind a large amount of mud. To accompany teachers, more than 50 officers and soldiers of Regiment 6, Huong Thuy town Military Command and local militia forces were present in time to support teachers in cleaning classrooms, wiping tables and chairs and clearing away a large amount of mud, garbage, etc.
Teacher Nguyen Thi Kim Tu, Principal of Thuy Thanh 1 Kindergarten, shared: "The school mobilized staff and teachers to clean up as soon as possible, but encountered many difficulties because most of them were women. Thanks to the support of the soldiers, the school was able to ensure facilities and be ready to welcome students back to school as soon as possible."

Similarly, at Huong Vinh Primary School No. 1 (Hue City), after the flood, a large amount of mud was left behind. With the cooperation and contribution of local militia soldiers, the school quickly cleaned up the basic situation and was able to welcome students back early next week.
Teacher Nguyen Thi Huyen, the school's principal, said: "Up to now, 90% of the cleaning work has been completed. Without the support of the militia, it would be difficult for teachers to complete the cleaning this week."
