At the destinations, after listening to unit commanders report on the implementation of tasks since the beginning of the year, the delegation inspected the actual training and combat readiness work; preservation and maintenance of weapons and technical equipment; logistics work, soldiers' lives and the solidarity relationship between the army and people on the island.

Colonel Dinh Van The acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility, solidarity, and will to overcome difficulties of the officers and soldiers who are on duty day and night on the island. Despite the difficult conditions, officers and soldiers of the units have always maintained their political will, strictly followed military discipline; maintained good combat readiness and effectively carried out training; contributed to maintaining security and defense on the sea and islands of the province.

Faced with the increasingly high demands of military and defense missions in the new situation, the Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested officers and soldiers of units stationed on the island to continue to thoroughly grasp resolutions, orders and directives from superiors; proactively grasp the situation, and not be passive or surprised in any situation.

In particular, units need to strictly maintain discipline and combat readiness; promote training close to real situations, locations, and tasks; attach importance to discipline training and regularity building; maintain good, durable, safe, economical weapons and equipment and be ready to mobilize when ordered.

Along with that, units need to actively participate in building military-civilian solidarity; closely coordinate with Party committees, authorities and forces on the island, promote the combined strength of the entire political system in building a solid defense area, closely attached to the people, creating a solid national defense posture right from the grassroots.
