On this occasion, the delegation of the Provincial Military Command offered incense at the Monument to the Heroic Martyrs at the 468 high point, Nam Ngat village, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district. The 468 high point was the site of fierce battles in the fight to protect the northern border. This is where many soldiers heroically sacrificed their lives, including thousands of martyrs who fell to protect every inch of land on the border that still remained on the battlefield.
