BIDV has just been awarded two awards by The Asian Banker magazine: Best Home Loan Product in Vietnam and Best Private Banking Service in Vietnam in 2024.

With impressive business results, innovative products and services and outstanding solutions for individual customers, on July 18 in Hanoi, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) was awarded two awards by The Asian Banker magazine: Best Housing Loan Product in Vietnam and Best Private Banking Service in Vietnam in 2024. Best Housing Loan Product in Vietnam "An cu lac nghiep" is an idiom that reflects the philosophy and concept of the importance of a home to Vietnamese people. A home is not only a place to live but also a symbol of reunion, cultural roots and preserving family traditions, and a solid foundation for future generations. Understanding the importance of home ownership for customers, BIDV is always a pioneer in developing housing loan solutions, helping customers easily realize their dream of settling down with many outstanding advantages such as: attractive interest rates, simple procedures, quick disbursement, diverse loan packages suitable for the needs of each customer, thereby creating a prestigious brand "Having BIDV means having a home", becoming a companion of millions of Vietnamese families. Specifically, in 2023, BIDV will continue to maintain its leading position in the retail credit market with impressive results: Growth scale of about 18% compared to 2022, of which outstanding loans secured by housing will grow by 38%, accounting for 43% of total outstanding loans. In addition to providing housing loan products through traditional counter channels, BIDV has developed the BIDV Home 3.0 application - a home loan platform on mobile devices, designed to be user-friendly and integrated with an automatic loan origination system (RLOS) to help digitize and automate the lending process, reduce loan processing time, help customers save costs and minimize environmental impact. With BIDV Home, customers can easily search for suitable projects and apartments through a network of projects/investors that meet "green" criteria, and at the same time register and carry out loan procedures easily. In 2023, the number of BIDV Home users will increase by 100%, of which 80% of loans will come from housing loans. BIDV Home will become an all-in-one application with a closed journey from searching for products and suppliers to calculating loan options and disbursement, all aimed at the goal of developing consumption/business of "green" products, environmentally friendly, connecting and sharing with customers the responsibility of protecting the environment with the community and society. In the period from 2025 to 2030, BIDV Home will become one of the pillars in the digital transformation process of BIDV's retail credit activities, contributing to reducing the process and procedures for borrowing compared to traditional methods, increasing customer experience and satisfaction. With this victory, BIDV becomes the first bank in Vietnam to be honored by The Asian Banker 5 times in the award category "Best Housing Loan Product in Vietnam." Best Private Banking Service in Vietnam Outstanding efforts to create new international standards for Private Banking services in Vietnam have helped BIDV conquer the strict evaluation board of The Asian Banker magazine. With strong growth results, long-term vision and strategic partnerships focusing on customer needs, BIDV was honored for the second consecutive time in the award category of Best Premium Customer Service - “Best Private Banking Services in Vietnam.”
