The Organizing Committee of Zone 5 Party Committee was established in mid-1959, when the Central Committee reinforced Zone 5 with many military and Civil-Political-Party cadres.
During 15 years of dedication (1960 - 1975), the Organizing Committee of Zone 5 Party Committee was awarded by the Party and State with 1 Gold Star Order, 4 Ho Chi Minh Orders, along with dozens of Independence Orders of various ranks and hundreds of Liberation Orders, Victory Orders...
In 2020, the Organizing Committee of Zone 5 Party Committee was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State for its outstanding achievements in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
* Earlier the same day, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and the delegation visited and offered flowers and incense at the Bac Tra My District Martyrs Cemetery. This is the resting place of more than 950 heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
Over the years, Bac Tra My has renovated, built and taken good care of the resting place of heroic martyrs in the district's Martyrs Cemetery. Organized to welcome relatives of martyrs from all over the country to burn incense and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who died for today's peace and independence.
