Caught on the way to deliver drugs

On March 8, news from Hue City Police (Thua Thien - Hue) said that the unit is temporarily detaining Nguyen Duc Chi Long (47 years old, residing in Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City) to investigate the act of illegally buying, selling and storing drugs.

Previously, at 10:30 p.m. on March 4, at lane 47, Minh Mang Street, Thuy Xuan Ward (Hue City), the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Hue City Police caught Long red-handed in possession of 3 plastic bags containing 596 pink tablets. Long confessed that the evidence was synthetic drugs and was on the way to deliver to a customer.

Continuing to urgently search Long's residence at alley 106, Minh Mang street (Thuy Xuan ward, Hue city), the authorities seized 6 more plastic bags containing 1,136 pink tablets suspected of being drugs.

At the police station, Long confessed that the above evidence was synthetic drugs. Previously, Long bought 2,000 drug pills from an unknown person, hid them in his house and divided them into small pieces to sell for profit.

Yesterday, March 7, Hue City Police coordinated with units to appraise the evidence. The case is in the process of consolidating the file for processing.
