On the morning of April 6, Mr. Nguyen Sy Quyet, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Loc Commune (Can Loc District, Ha Tinh), said that the locality has issued a notice to find the father and mother of a newborn baby boy nearly 1 month old, weighing 4.2 kg, who was abandoned in this locality.

At around 3am on April 5, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chien (born in 1970, residing in Tra Son village) was sleeping when he heard a baby crying. Opening the door to check, he discovered the crying coming from a styrofoam box placed in front of his house.

The baby was covered with a light blue blanket, wearing a red woolen hat, lying in an uncovered styrofoam box, and in good health.

In addition, next to the baby there are also accompanying items including 1 plastic bag containing newborn clothes, 1 box of milk powder, 1 bar of soap.

Upon receiving the news, the leaders of Phu Loc commune sent functional forces to verify, make a record, and temporarily hand over the boy to Mr. Chien's family to care for and raise.

Within 7 days from the date of notification, if no relatives of the child come to receive the child, the People's Committee of Phu Loc commune will carry out birth registration and other related procedures for the child according to regulations.
