On the afternoon of September 15, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Central Organizing Committee to organize the closing ceremony of the Training and Knowledge Update Course for Party Central Committee members, term XIII (second class).
Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai attended and delivered a speech. Also attending were Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang.
At the closing ceremony, congratulating 54 Central Party Committee members for successfully completing the training and knowledge update program, Standing member of the Secretariat and Head of the Central Organization Committee Truong Thi Mai emphasized that there are only more than 2 years left to prepare for Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress in the context of the world situation with many rapid and complex changes.
Domestically, the 40-year renovation has brought about many important achievements, creating opportunities to achieve the next development goals. However, the country is also facing a number of internal difficulties and challenges, and some new complex developments. To meet the increasingly high requirements, it requires leaders of Party committees and organizations at all levels to urgently promote their spirit and responsibility, make efforts to take advantage of time and opportunities to create a solid foundation in all aspects, contributing to the success of the 14th National Party Congress.
The Standing Secretariat highly appreciated the 9 topics of the Training Course, updating knowledge that is both practical and theoretical and strategic. The reporters are officials holding important positions of the Party and State in various fields.
The Standing Secretariat believes that although the training course takes place in a short time, it is an opportunity for the Party Central Committee members to have some time to reflect and think more about the country's development path and their own personal contributions.
Ms. Truong Thi Mai hopes that in the process of performing upcoming tasks, the Party Central Committee members will continue to practice political mettle, set an example of not being afraid of difficulties and challenges, and be ready to accept tasks, proactively and effectively handle problems encountered to promote the development of their localities, agencies and units, and excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.
According to the Summary Report of the course presented by Associate Professor - Doctor Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics at the Closing Ceremony, after 5 days of study (from September 11-15), 54 members of the Party Central Committee were trained and updated on 9 topics, including 8 domestic topics and 1 international topic.
The topics are all strategic, important, fundamental and urgent issues of our country in the current period, including issues on Party building and rectification, improving the Party's leadership and governance capacity; building and perfecting the State and the rule of law, building the legal system in the new situation; on the Socio-Economic Development Strategy; the National Defense Strategy, the National Defense Strategy, the National Security Strategy; on foreign affairs in the new situation; on summarizing practices and researching theories to serve the completion of the innovation policy, building and protecting the Fatherland.
The content of the topics is updated, linking theoretical issues with the latest practices of the country and the world, closely following the spirit of the 13th National Congress of the Party and the resolutions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the Government from the beginning of the term until now and an international topic by international experts reporting on experiences in reforming the organization and apparatus of the Party and State.
