MV "Warm sunshine of the homeland" with the participation of many famous artists.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh province has just organized a reception for the MV "Warm Sunshine of the Homeland" and gifts for poor households on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024.
MV Warm sunshine of the homeland is a special gift from Mr. Nguyen Xuan Van, who is living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, to his hometown Thai Binh.
The MV Warm Sunshine of the Homeland features famous artists such as: People's Artist Tu Long, famous singer Ngoc Son, Meritorious Artist Quang Thang, singer Quang Linh, singer Giang Hong Ngoc, actors Trung Ruoi, Duy Nam... In the MV, there are many beautiful images of Thai Binh land, helping to promote the landscape and culture of this land.
Mr. Xuan Van is a traffic police officer but has dedicated to his homeland a music product that he himself conceived, created and produced.
Sharing with VTC News, Mr. Xuan Van emotionally said that he made this MV as a gift for Thai Binh province because he wanted to dedicate something special to express his feelings for his homeland, the place where he was born and raised.
Luckily, when making this music product, he received enthusiastic support from his wife - singer Giang Hong Ngoc and many friends - people working in the art world.
However, the journey to make the MV also encountered many difficulties. Mr. Xuan Van revealed that he had cherished this project since 2020 but only now was he able to carry it out.
Although he is a traffic police officer, Mr. Xuan Van took on the role of producer in this project. He took on everything from coming up with script ideas to arranging filming schedules. Due to his different profession, he encountered many difficulties and hardships during the implementation process, but he felt very happy.
By putting many famous landscapes of Thai Binh into the MV, Mr. Xuan Van hopes most for the development of his hometown, the image of his hometown to be promoted and for people to know more about Thai Binh.
According to singer Giang Hong Ngoc's husband, from the time he started to realize the idea of making music, recording to filming the MV, it took about a year to complete.
“ Because the people participating in the MV are all famous artists, they are very busy with work. When I schedule a filming schedule for one artist, another artist is busy. It is quite difficult to finalize the artists' schedules. During the filming process, because we wanted to have the most perfect MV, we had to re-shoot the scenes that were not satisfactory,” said Mr. Xuan Van.
The most memorable memory for Mr. Xuan Van was when filming the MV in Thai Binh, at the last minute People's Artist Tu Long requested a brown shirt suitable for the scene of the farmers there.
“The distance from the filming location to the market is very far, dozens of kilometers, but because Tu Long's idea was so good, we still had to go find and buy it. When Tu Long wore a brown shirt and carried a bundle of rice, he looked like a son of Thai Binh. The filming scene was hard, but the effects on screen were very suitable. I felt the dedication of the artists when working with me to make this MV."
Mr. Xuan Van said that he has a little artistic blood in him, and after getting married, that love grew even stronger. However, he admitted: "I can only help my wife mentally, encourage and share with her, but I can't help her much in her career path."
Giang Hong Ngoc also appeared in her husband's MV as a singer, alongside other co-artists who are close friends of her husband.
The X Factor champion said that when she heard her husband talk about his plan to produce a music video for his homeland, she was very surprised because she didn't think her husband was so passionate about art.
“When I get to sing the song that my husband produced for his homeland – my second homeland, I feel very happy,” Giang Hong Ngoc shared.
Giang Hong Ngoc shared more about her appearance in the MV wearing the Ao Ba Ba. The female singer knew that wearing the Ao Ba Ba to sing about her hometown Thai Binh would be strange, however, she wanted to erase the regional gap.
Furthermore, with the image of the Ao Ba Ba, the female singer wants to spread the message "no matter where you live, you all have a special love for your homeland, or for the land where your loved one was born and raised".
Although she has many years of experience in the profession, when participating in the MV where her husband plays the role of producer, Giang Hong Ngoc only plays the role of a singer, and from the production stage to planning or contacting other artists, her husband does everything by himself.
After the MV "Warm Sunshine of the Homeland" was posted, Mr. Xuan Van said that his friends - the children of Thai Binh - were very happy and excited. Everyone texted him a lot. They were very impressed when the MV recorded many beautiful images from the scenic spots of their home province.
Many famous artists participate in the MV to promote the image and people of Thai Binh.
Mr. Xuan Van hopes that the image of his hometown will be promoted and more people will know about Thai Binh. Personally, he is always proud to be a son of Thai Binh.
Refusing to share the cost of making the MV, Mr. Xuan Van just wanted to thank all the artists because everyone agreed to participate but no one received a salary. “Everyone who came to the studio or filmed paid for it themselves, I didn’t have to pay anything. The artists appearing in the MV are close friends, people who have known me for more than 20 years. They and I have become soul mates. So when I asked, everyone rolled up their sleeves and got involved.”
When the heartfelt music product was received, Mr. Xuan Van emotionally expressed: “I would like to thank all the people of Thai Binh for receiving the MV, thank the provincial leaders for creating favorable conditions for the film crew when filming, and especially thank the artists who participated and showed their love for Thai Binh.
I am truly grateful to the artists and crew for their dedication, wholeheartedness, thoughtfulness, and meticulousness for their love of their homeland. And I am very grateful to my friends who gave gifts to the people of Thai Binh."
During the trip back to his hometown to give away the MV, Mr. Xuan Van and his friends also contributed 300,000,000 VND to give to people in need during Tet.
