According to Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia, the press has recently closely followed the breath of life, promptly reflecting vivid realities and many problems arising in the country's development process.
On the occasion of the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on June 17, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and congratulated Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Communist Magazine.
Speaking at press agencies, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia stated that over the past time, the press has always closely followed major and important events of the country, always making constant efforts to fulfill its duties as a national news agency, a key press agency.

At the same time, press agencies have always been proactive and well deployed key information routes such as implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, restoring and developing the socio-economy, protecting national sovereignty, important cultural and foreign affairs activities of the country, information on international issues in line with the country's foreign policy, and most recently, the news route on the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
According to Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, the press has recently closely followed the breath of life, promptly reflecting vivid realities and many problems arising in the country's development process. Along with that, it has been creative in deploying news stories to protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against the wrong arguments of hostile forces.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia also pointed out that in the context of the explosion of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, press agencies must meet new requirements and tasks, requiring journalists to not only be politically and professionally steadfast but also to master science and technology to bring official and authentic information of Vietnam to friends around the world in the fastest way.
During the visit and congratulation to the press agencies, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized: "I hope that the revolutionary journalists will strive to study the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh, the founder of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. Studying Uncle Ho will help each of us to be more fully aware of the responsibility and duty of a writer, to always be dedicated to the assigned tasks."
The Head of the Central Propaganda Department also expressed his hope that press agencies will continue to accurately, vividly and promptly reflect the Party and State's policies and guidelines to the people and international friends.
