Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Principal in charge of the University of Transport, said that this is an important event marking a new step forward in the promising cooperation relationship between the school and two units in the construction industry of Vietnam.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hung, in recent years, the University of Transport has implemented many synchronous solutions to achieve solid successes in training, scientific research and serving the community and society.

"The quality of graduates is highly appreciated by businesses and social organizations in the transport sector. Many typical scientific and technological products of the school have been granted patents, useful solutions have been successfully applied, contributing to promoting the development and application of science and technology into practice," said Mr. Hung.

Sharing at the signing ceremony, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thang Long Corporation expressed his desire to cooperate with the University of Transport in the field of training to increase human resources, which are excellent students who will work at the two enterprises after graduation.

In addition, cooperating with the school to apply scientific research into practice, achieving good results, meeting quality requirements especially in the fields of railways, high-speed railways, and urban railways.

It is known that the cooperation agreement program between the three units includes 7 main contents. In which, the University of Transport organizes railway engineering training courses (in the field of traffic construction engineering) for staff of Thang Long Corporation and FECON Joint Stock Company. At the same time, it provides high-quality human resources in the field of traffic construction engineering for the two enterprises.

Thang Long Corporation and FECON Joint Stock Company create internship opportunities and practical career experiences for students of the University of Transport in the field of traffic construction engineering.

The three parties coordinate to research scientific topics and transfer technology according to the needs of Thang Long Corporation and FECON Joint Stock Company.

Apply and promote brands and products of the parties in teaching, scientific research production, technological innovation as well as scientific projects that the University of Transport participates in.

Thang Long Corporation and FECON Joint Stock Company provide scholarships for students, sponsor some activities of the University of Transport, provide domestic and foreign experts with practical experience to participate in training and research activities at the request of the University of Transport.
