Việt Nam•15/04/2024Hero Phan Dinh Giot was born in 1922 in Tam Quang hamlet, Vinh Yen village, Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province. After the August Revolution, Phan Dinh Giot joined the self-defense force. In 1950, he volunteered to join the main force. He also participated in a number of major campaigns such as: Midland, Hoa Binh, Tay Bac and Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
