After the final night of Mr World Vietnam 2024, Dinh Ta Bi was both happy and nervous, saying he still hadn't "recovered" because he didn't expect to be 2nd Runner-up. The moment he entered the top 3, Ta Bi admitted that he knew in advance that one of the two opponents - Tuan Ngoc and Minh Toai - would win.

When Ta Bi was young, his family lived in a bungalow, covered only with plywood, which was often flooded when it rained, and on sunny days, light shone through the cracks in the house. This was an experience that helped the king grow up.

Ta Bi was not interested in medicine at first, but was quickly inspired by following the example of his two sisters and father. Because his family was not well off, he worked as a model while studying at Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Whenever there is a show or model casting in Saigon, he asks his teachers for permission to put his studies aside to participate. This helps Ta Bi build his image, earn extra income to support his personal life and his family. Currently, he rents a room alone for 1.5 to 2 million VND a month.

Sharing with VietNamNet , Ta Bi's mother - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hao is proud of her son's journey and final result at Mr World Vietnam 2024. She said that her son competed in the behavior contest with all his heart and understanding. Ta Bi has been a good boy since childhood, always studious. At first, the whole family was surprised and worried when he competed in the male king contest because they thought he would drop out of school and take exams.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hao confided that she did not want her children to suffer, so she always hoped that all three of them would have an education and a good career. To support her children's education, she did all kinds of work such as gardening, raising animals, trading...

Ta Bi’s mother admitted that she shed tears many times when facing difficulties, but always tried to overcome them because she thought about her children’s future. When Ta Bi was born, the family was still struggling because her father often went on business trips away from home and had to study a specialized subject, so she had to struggle alone.

She believes that the difficult past has affected the maturity of her children. The three sisters all help each other, study hard, and are obedient. They always try to live well so that their mother will not be sad, especially after their father passed away.

The eldest daughter, Dinh Thi Thuy Trang, was in the top 10 of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2013. Ta Bi's second sister, Dinh Y Quyen, also participated in Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 but did not achieve high results.

She said Ta Bi was always self-disciplined in his studies and was loved by his teachers and friends. He was also admitted to the People's Security Academy but chose Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Dinh Ta Bi is 23 years old, 1.79m tall, an ethnic minority in Gia Lai. Before participating in Mr. World Vietnam 2024, he was in the top 5 of the Elegant Male Student contest at Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy thanks to his singing and dancing talents.
