On the afternoon of June 25, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference between the FLF and FDI enterprises in Thanh Hoa on the implementation of labor regimes, policies, laws, labor relations and trade union activities at enterprises. Comrade Mai Ba Nam, Vice Chairman of the FLF chaired the conference.

As of June 20, 2024, 36 FDI enterprises in the province had 158,878 employees. In May and June, enterprises maintained good employment for employees, many companies signed orders until the end of 2024 and are organizing overtime for employees. Specifically, 27/36 enterprises organized overtime, of which 8/27 enterprises had overtime of 1-1.5 hours/day; 19/27 enterprises had overtime of 2-3.5 hours on some days of the week.

36/36 enterprises have paid salaries, meal allowances, attendance allowances, gasoline allowances and other allowances to workers on time.
20/36 enterprises have announced an increase in regional minimum wages as prescribed from June 1, 2024; of which 2 companies have increased from March and April 2024, specifically Kim Viet Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. increased from March 2024, Sumec Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd. increased from April 2024.
Average income of employees in May and June is: 7,243,000 VND/person/month.

36/36 enterprises have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency on time and paid full monthly sickness and maternity benefits to employees. The total number of employees of the 36 enterprises who have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is 154,406 people, reaching 97.2%; the remaining 4,472 people, accounting for 2.8%, have not participated in social insurance because they have just joined the company.

In the past 2 months, trade unions at all levels have organized many activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024), such as: Organizing sports festivals, competitions, and art performances; launching ceremony of "Workers' Month", "Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene"; competition for excellent occupational safety and hygiene workers in 2024; coordinating with business leaders to organize labor conferences and dialogue conferences.
Grassroots trade unions continue to coordinate with enterprises to visit and give gifts to workers in especially difficult circumstances with gifts ranging from 500,000 VND to 2 million VND/person; maintain coordination in inspecting and supervising canteens; change dishes according to the menu, ensuring the health of workers...
