In a series of activities responding to Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2024, today, March 25, the Quang Tri Provincial Industry and Trade Union in coordination with the Health Sector Union organized health check-ups, consultations and provided free medicine for 100 union members and workers directly under the Industry and Trade Union in Nam Dong Ha Industrial Park.

Union members and employees receive health consultation from the medical team of the Health Sector Union; physical examination; blood pressure measurement; general abdominal ultrasound; electrocardiogram; internal and surgical examination; examination of specialties including dentistry - maxillofacial, ear - nose - throat, eyes, dermatology; and specialized diseases for female union members and employees.

After direct examination, doctors and nurses concluded about health and illness, prescribed medication and guided appropriate treatment regimen.

In addition, doctors and nurses also advise and guide union members and workers on how to monitor their health and take care of their own health; and guide them on how to implement measures to effectively prevent and treat diseases.

This is a practical activity to care for and protect the health of union members and employees, helping them feel secure in their work and production, and be more attached to the enterprise, while promoting the role of the Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 100 gifts to union members and employees participating in the health check-up.
