Accordingly, after reviewing, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ngai province selected 10 OCOP products that met the criteria of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to register to participate in promotion and introduction in a number of distribution systems in the US market.
Specifically, Quang Ngai malt products - Mantoza Sugar of Quang Ngai Dental Factory - Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company; lingzhi mushrooms of Duc Nhuan Mushroom Production and Trading Cooperative (Duc Nhuan commune, Mo Duc district); stewed salt, SAHU bamboo salt, salt flowers of SAHU Salt One Member Co., Ltd. (Pho Thanh ward, Duc Pho town).
Cinnamon bark handicrafts and cinnamon essential oil of Tra Bong Cinnamon Incense Company Limited (Tra Son Commune, Tra Bong District); single black garlic, Ly Son garlic, black garlic extract of Phu Sinh Trading and Service Company Limited (Ly Son District).
These products all meet OCOP 4 stars or higher and many other standards, and are exported to many countries around the world.
According to statistics from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ngai province, by October the whole province had 204 products achieving OCOP 3 to 4 stars.
Of these, 17 products achieved 4 stars and 187 products achieved 3 stars. Notably, there are 2 OCOP tourism products including Quang Ngai Ancient Citadel tourist site achieving 4-star OCOP and Go Co village heritage park achieving 3-star OCOP.

Along with proposing many solutions to enhance the value of Quang Ngai OCOP products, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with relevant organizations and units to upgrade and complete 3 OCOP products that have been evaluated and classified as 4 stars, namely Quang Ngai malt - Mantoza sugar; Ly Son garlic and single black garlic to products with the potential to achieve 5 stars at the central level, linked to domestic and export market demand.
For a long time, Quang Ngai has focused on developing clean agricultural products that meet domestic and international standards. Many fairs and OCOP markets organized by the province have attracted the participation of many organizations and individuals.
In particular, young people starting businesses from agricultural products are increasing in number. They are encouraged by Quang Ngai province to gradually increase the value of the supply chain of goods, creating momentum for rural areas.
