10 destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists during the upcoming April 30 - May 1 holiday

According to online travel platform Agoda, many Vietnamese tourists have started planning long trips, looking for new experiences beyond borders, causing searches for accommodation abroad to skyrocket, from 26% to 46% compared to the same period last year.

Interestingly, the Top 10 destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists during this holiday are all in Asia, including: Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (Korea), Taipei (Taiwan-China), Hong Kong (China), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Shanghai (China), Bali (Indonesia) and Osaka (Japan).

Mr. Vu Ngoc Lam, Country Director of Agoda in Vietnam, shared: The extended holiday season opens up opportunities for Vietnamese tourists to travel to vibrant cities across Asia. Familiar destinations such as Bangkok, Tokyo or Seoul always retain their own appeal with unique cultural spaces, rich cuisine and countless exciting entertainment activities.
