
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam currently has 7 domestic education quality assessment centers and 10 foreign assessment organizations recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
As of April 30, 2024, the country has 1,773 training programs at all levels of higher education that have been certified to meet quality standards. Of these, 1,254 training programs are assessed according to domestic standards and 519 programs are assessed according to foreign standards.
Previously, as of January 31, the whole country had 1,142 university training programs and 5 teacher training colleges assessed to meet domestic education quality standards, and 500 university training programs assessed to meet foreign quality standards.
According to Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Education Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, the work of ensuring and accrediting the quality of higher education is receiving increasing attention. The fact that more and more Vietnamese higher education institutions are participating in foreign accreditation and being recognized is a recognition of the efforts of Vietnamese higher education institutions and are following the plan to ensure and accredit the quality of higher education.
