Commenting on tomorrow's trading session, August 14, investors expect foreign investors to continue their net buying momentum, helping the VN-Index have positive developments, extending the recovery streak.
Mr. Vo Kim Phung, Head of Analysis Department, BETA Securities Company, said that VN-Index is still facing increasing selling pressure, with investors' cautious psychology prevailing. The positive point is that foreign investors are continuously increasing their disbursement level. If the cash flow continues to maintain this trend, VN-Index will likely receive support and can recover more strongly in the coming sessions.
In fact, foreign investors net bought more than VND322 billion in today's session, August 13, marking a streak of net buying for 3 consecutive sessions, actively supporting the recovery momentum of the main index.
The stocks with the most net purchases were HDB, VNM, FPT . This helped the VN-Index end the session up slightly by 0.14 points, to 1,230.42 points; the HNX-Index decreased by 0.59 points to 230.18 points.

Stock market has 6th consecutive increase session
Banking is the bright spot of the market when there are stocks hitting the ceiling price like NAB, or many other stocks increasing positively like PGB, VCB, HDB, ABB, VBB... The market has 162 stocks increasing, 88 stocks remaining unchanged, 234 stocks decreasing.
However, a negative point in today's session is that the matched liquidity decreased by 3.22% compared to the previous session and selling pressure is present when the number of decreasing codes is dominant with 234 codes compared to 162 increasing codes. The market still has many risks, when cautious psychology dominates trading decisions.
Experts from SHS Securities Company believe that the short-term trend of the market is improving with the majority of buying positions at prices around 1,200 - 1,210 points. Many codes and groups of stocks continue to recover after prolonged correction pressure such as real estate, opening up opportunities to accumulate good quality stocks.
"In the short term, the market will depend largely on the growth prospects of businesses. Short- and medium-term investors should maintain a reasonable weight, and may consider increasing the stock weight to an average level, but should not buy when the VN-Index recovers to the 1,250-point zone," an expert from SHS Securities recommended.
