National Highway 1 through Phu Yen province is 134 km long. Due to the heavy traffic, the route is often damaged during the rainy season, with potholes covering the road, posing a danger to road users. In addition to constant repairs and patching of the road, local authorities have had to place accident warning signs in some sections.
