In 2024, the Party Internal Affairs Sector has made many efforts and attempts to quite comprehensively complete the tasks according to the work program, with 10 events, notably: General Secretary To Lam met and worked with leaders of central internal affairs agencies to thoroughly grasp a number of new policies and viewpoints on anti-corruption - Building a team of "Strong - Sharp - Effective" internal affairs agency cadres. Completed the development and submitted to the Politburo, the Secretariat and the two Central Steering Committees 10 major projects on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform. Timely advised on amending and supplementing the functions and tasks of the Central Steering Committee and the provincial Steering Committees to direct both waste prevention and control work, making waste prevention and control equivalent to anti-corruption.

Coordinated consultation and directed the handling of many serious, complicated corruption and negative cases that the public was interested in, following the viewpoint of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions", being both strict and humane, in accordance with legal regulations... The Internal Affairs sector has also completed the review and streamlining of the organizational structure; revised and supplemented the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

General Secretary To Lam stated: 2025 is a year of special significance in successfully implementing the tasks of the entire term according to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; carrying out the organizational arrangement; organizing Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, requiring the Party Internal Affairs sector to continue to make greater efforts, with higher determination, to advise and direct the further promotion of internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform. Focus on advising and directing drastic and comprehensive implementation, creating new changes and breakthroughs in the work of preventing and combating waste in the whole society".

Advise on the effective implementation of the Politburo's conclusion on strengthening the Party's leadership in the work of receiving citizens, handling complaints, denunciations, reflections, recommendations and the direction of the Standing Secretariat on handling complaints and denunciations to ensure security and order for Party Congresses at all levels. Effectively implement regulations on power control, improve the effectiveness of solutions to prevent corruption, waste and negativity, especially strengthening power control, anti-corruption in personnel work and in agencies with anti-corruption functions; prevent and combat waste and negativity in the implementation of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, staff and management and use of assets of agencies and organizations after restructuring and streamlining. Promote administrative reform, digital transformation, publicity, transparency, control of assets, income, and non-cash payments. Continue to consolidate and perfect the organizational apparatus, build a team of cadres in the Party's Internal Affairs sector that is truly "Firm - Sharp - Effective", contributing with the country to enter a new era - the era of national advancement.
