The quarter-finals of the 3-cushion carom billiards World Games 2025 (held on August 12) ended with convincing victories for the top players. In the opening match, Cho Myung-woo (Korea) defeated his compatriot Heo Jung-han 40-29. Immediately after, Tran Quyet Chien overcame his fateful opponent Jeremy Bury (France) with a score of 40-32. In the remaining bracket, Martin Horn (Germany) affirmed his rich experience when he defeated Pedro Piedrabuena (USA) 40-31. Meanwhile, Sameh Sidhom (Egypt) had no difficulty in defeating Tayfun Tasdemir (Türkiye) with a score of 40-21.

According to the schedule, the two semi-finals will take place on August 13. At 8:00 (Vietnam time), Tran Quyet Chien will face Cho Myung-woo. In the remaining match, Sameh Sidhom will face Martin Horn at 10:00 (Vietnam time).
