'Soaring to Vietnam': When the young generation continues the mission of building the country

The image of veterans holding hands with children walking around the grounds of the Vietnam Military History Museum is one of the touching moments in the music video “Fly Up to Vietnam” which was released to audiences on August 10.

This is a musical product by musician Duong Truong Giang-Tram Tran and Be Singer Arts Center, with the meaning of celebrating the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Master, artist Dinh Lan Huong, lecturer at Hanoi College of Art, is the project manager and together with the team came up with the idea, organized the production and made the MV.

Sharing her inspiration for her work, musician Tram Tran said that every Vietnamese family has at least one person who has served in the army, or is a wounded or fallen soldier. Her family is the same. The young musician born in the 90s is always grateful for the great sacrifices of her ancestors so that today's generation can live in a peaceful and independent Vietnam.

“The war has been over for more than 50 years, today's generation of young people seem to feel less pain from war than their parents did. Musician Duong Truong Giang and I wrote the song 'Fly Up to Vietnam' for our children, hoping that they will always be grateful, remember the contributions of previous generations, follow their ancestors, stand up to build and protect the country with even greater dreams,” musician Tram Tran shared.

“Vut bay len Viet Nam” is a song arranged with pop music but performed with a symphony orchestra, creating a majestic and powerful feeling. The opening of the song is the string section, symphony drums and brass band, drawing a space full of the heroic spirit of the Vietnamese people, then it becomes more profound with a piano as the background for a leisurely voice telling a story. Towards the end of the song, the orchestra joins in more and more, making the space of the song burst with pride in “Dreams and Soaring to Viet Nam.”

The images were taken at the Vietnam Military History Museum so that today's generation can look back at the past and pay tribute to the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations during the war.

In the space displaying war relics, veterans and children walk together, like a sacred continuity from the past to the present and the future.

The MV premiered at 7:30 p.m. on August 10 on Youtube channel, Fanpage of Be Singer Center and Vietnam National Defense Television channel./.
