According to the report, the Phuoc Thai 2 and Phuoc Thai 3 Solar Power Plant Projects have been approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decisions No. 221 and 222/2020/QD-UBND. On May 31, 2023, EVN issued documents No. 2881/EVN-DT and 2882/EVN-DT reporting to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of adjustments to the investment policy of the two projects with the expected progress: Construction will start in August 2023, the project will be completed and put into use in the first quarter of 2024. Up to now, the compensation progress of the Phuoc Thai 2 Solar Power Plant Project with a total land area recovered for the project is 91.15 hectares, the land area that has received compensation and handed over the site is 80.47 hectares, reaching 88.28%; Phuoc Thai 3 Power Plant Project, with a total land area recovered for the project of 42.25 hectares, the land area that has received compensation and handed over the site is 40.12 hectares, reaching 94.95%; Phuoc Thai - Phuoc Huu and Phuoc Thai - Phuoc Huu DL1 110kV Transmission Line Project, built in Phuoc Thai and Phuoc Huu communes (Ninh Phuoc), has now handed over the construction site of 30/33 pole positions to the Contractor. For the projects: Replacing the conductors of the 110kV transmission line 174 Thap Cham - Ninh Phuoc; Ninh Phuoc - Tuy Phong - Phan Ri circuit 2 line, Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan provinces; upgrading the cross-section of the 110k line; upgrading the cross-section of the 110kV Da Nhim - Thap Cham 220kV Station. Up to now, the construction is still in progress and is stuck in the compensation and site clearance work.

At the meeting, EVN presented the difficulties in project implementation, and requested local support in directing the implementation of related procedures to promptly hand over the construction site. At the same time, departments and localities also reported on the implementation status of supporting legal procedures to complete the dossier, coordinate propaganda for households in the area of site clearance, and propose solutions to promptly hand over the site for construction, contributing to speeding up the progress of the projects.
Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested localities to continue to direct and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to promote propaganda and mobilization, create high consensus among people in the project area, and implement compensation policies in accordance with legal regulations. At the same time, support to resolve problems related to site clearance, planning, and land conversion to create the most favorable conditions for the implementation of power projects in the province.
