Accordingly, the Project to build a water supply system for Vung Ang Economic Zone in Ky Anh district (compensation, support, and resettlement implemented from December 2011 to present) includes the following components: Rao Tro reservoir, Lac Tien dam and canal, tunnel with a total area of ​​2,975.92 hectares; affecting 1,835 households in the communes of Ky Thuong, Ky Tay, Lam Hop, Ky Son, Ky Lac, Ky Tan.

Up to now, many households have not received compensation for site clearance (GPMB). Specifically, the additional compensation policy on support for career conversion, job search and support for stabilizing life in 5 communes (Ky Thuong, Ky Tan, Ky Son, Lam Hop, Ky Lac) has 883 households; the part that has not been compensated, supported and resettled in Ky Tay commune has 373 households; the additional flooded part in the items: Lac Tien dam, canal, tunnel and auxiliary works in Ky Lac, Ky Son, Lam Hop communes has 58 households.

According to the local plan, for the supplementary compensation policy on job conversion support and job search, and support for stabilizing life in the 5 communes of Ky Thuong, Ky Tan, Ky Son, Lam Hop, and Ky Lac, a meeting will be held to announce the (supplementary) compensation and support plan, complete public posting in the communes before October 30, 2023; organize compensation and support payments from November 15, 2023.

People of Ky Tay commune hope that compensation will be carried out fairly and without errors.

For compensation, support and resettlement in Ky Tay commune, a re-inspection and additional inventory will be organized and completed before December 30, 2023; compensation and resettlement support payments will be organized from April 15, 2024.

At the meeting, people from localities affected by the project thanked the leaders at all levels and sectors for their attention; at the same time, they hoped that provincial leaders would continue to pay attention and have a satisfactory compensation plan, suitable to reality; and at the same time, they made recommendations and proposals on a number of related issues.
