The program "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week 2023 is organized by the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) from November 22-26.

More than 200 people of 15 ethnic groups including Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Muong, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Co Tu, Xo Dang, Gia Rai... will participate in the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" in 2023 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
This activity aims to contribute to preserving and promoting the tradition of great national unity; enhancing cultural, sports and tourism exchanges; spreading and promoting the cultural identity of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups; raising awareness and responsibility in building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development according to Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the 11th Party Central Committee, Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 2021 National Cultural Conference...
The opening program of the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" in 2023 and the Pole Display Festival are the highlight activities to celebrate the Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, contributing to honoring, preserving, maintaining and promoting the values of cultural heritage; building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity; enhancing the inheritance and practice of culture to preserve and promote the values of traditional cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
Within the framework of the program, there is also a reenactment of the Poong Poong Festival (flower festival) of the Muong ethnic group in Thanh Hoa province; the Cultural Exchange Day of the Central Highlands ethnic groups, including activities of folk songs, folk dances, and folk games of the Central Highlands ethnic groups as the main theme, with the combination of the Central Highlands artisan groups that are active daily and the artisan groups of the Central Highlands provinces participating in the festival.
Cultural exchange festival of ethnic groups in the Northwest with the participation of ethnic groups from the North who operate daily in the Village in coordination with Muong ethnic artisans (Thanh Hoa).
The program includes folk song, dance, and folk games of the Nung, Tay, Dao, Mong, Muong, Thai, and Kho Mu ethnic groups, and performances of "Skillful weaving" by the cultural subjects of the Northern ethnic groups.
The photo exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese ethnic groups" selects about 160 photographic works of quality in content and artistic form introducing 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
Through the introduction of the photo collection, it creates favorable conditions for people in the country and international friends to enjoy works of art and learn about the culture, life and people of the Vietnamese ethnic groups.
