Accordingly, the course content includes: 1 year of Vietnamese language and 4 years of university (or 2 years of graduate study) at Cuu Long University.
The scholarship includes: free tuition for 1 year of Vietnamese language study; free tuition for 4 years of university study (or 2 years of graduate study); free accommodation in the school dormitory; free use of wifi, electricity and water within the prescribed limit; support for 1 round-trip air ticket (from Sri Lanka to Vietnam and vice versa) for the entire 5-year course; monthly living allowance equivalent to 3,630,000 VND/international student...
It is estimated that each full scholarship is worth about 350 million VND. The total cost of scholarships for 5 international students is about 1.8 billion VND.
According to the plan, 4 Sri Lankan students will go to Vietnam to study at Cuu Long University on August 18; the remaining student will come later.
Previously, in June 2025, Cuu Long University approved in writing to grant 5 full scholarships to Sri Lankan international students to study at the school.
