Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Trinh Huu Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Dong Do University, reviewed the milestones of the school's establishment and development over the past three decades with many challenges and difficulties but also pride in education and training.

When it was first established, the school had only 7 undergraduate training majors including: English, Chinese, French, International Relations, Business Administration, Information Technology, Environmental Engineering Technology. Up to now, the school has basically completed a multidisciplinary and multidisciplinary structure with 1 doctoral major, 7 master's majors and 24 regular undergraduate training majors covering most of the key areas such as: economics, science and technology, foreign languages, medicine and humanities.

The total staff and lecturers working at the school are nearly 500 people, of which nearly 200 have doctoral degrees or higher. Up to now, the school has trained more than 50,000 engineers, architects, pharmacists and bachelors, along with thousands of masters and doctors for the country.

With a multidisciplinary and multi-field structure, the school has the strength to participate in solving key scientific and technological problems of the country in all fields, including difficult and important fields such as: medicine, information technology, construction, law.

According to Dr. Trinh Huu Tuan, over the years, the school has continuously improved and enhanced the quality of education, built a friendly and modern learning environment, and gradually affirmed its position in the university education system in Vietnam.

"30 years - not a long journey but enough to create deep impressions in the hearts of generations of lecturers, students and the community. The school is proud to have provided society with thousands of bachelors, masters, doctors, scientists and highly qualified experts, actively contributing to the cause of building and developing the country", Dr. Tuan emphasized.

Continuing the achievements, the Chairman of the University Council affirmed that in the coming time, Dong Do University will continue to promote its strengths, improve teaching quality, promote scientific research, and create the best learning opportunities for students to become global citizens, capable of contributing to the sustainable development of society.

"We must realize that there are still many challenges and opportunities ahead. I believe that with the spirit of solidarity, creativity and determination, Dong Do University will continue to develop strongly, providing high-quality human resources for society and contributing to the sustainable development of the country," he said.
