Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology... will give students and trainees a Lunar New Year holiday from January 20, 2025 to February 9, 2025. Hoa Sen University plans to give students a Tet holiday from January 22, 2025 to February 5, 2025.

The schools with the fewest number of Tet holidays up to now are those under Ho Chi Minh City National University such as the University of Natural Sciences, University of Economics and Law, and University of Technology, which give students 14 days off for Tet, lasting from January 27, 2025 to February 9, 2025.

For the University of Natural Sciences, students will start taking the first semester exam from January 6th and register for courses after Tet. Therefore, students can flexibly take a longer break than expected if their study plan is completed early. Combine online learning for an additional 1-2 weeks.

Some other schools are also flexible in allowing students to study online after the Tet holiday. Specifically, at the University of Finance and Marketing, students will have Tet holiday from January 25, 2025 to February 9, 2025. In addition, the school also allows students to study online for 2 consecutive weeks before and after Tet.
