As a poor household in Phja Deng hamlet, Chi Vien commune, for many years, Ms. Hua Thi Huong's family had to live in a poor house, always feeling worried and insecure. In 2024, through the support resources for building a house under the Project to eliminate poverty, the family was supported with 44 million VND, along with additional loans to build a new house. After more than 3 months of construction, at the end of 2024, Ms. Huong's family was able to celebrate the Lunar New Year in a level 4 house of about 80 ^m2, ensuring "3 hard". Ms. Huong happily shared: Thanks to the attention of Party committees and local authorities at all levels, I have completed my family's dream house. Now my family has a stable place to live, no longer has to worry, will focus on economic development to improve life and escape poverty soon.

Head of Phja Đeng hamlet Nong Van Luat said: Through screening, in the hamlet there are 11 poor households, near-poor households, and policy families approved for support to eliminate poverty and unemployment. Up to now, 100% of households, near-poor households, and policy families have been supported to build new houses. Thanks to the State's attention, poor households in the hamlet have spacious houses, stable lives, and the appearance of the hamlet is changing day by day.

Through review, in the period of 2021 - 2025, Trung Khanh district has 2,090 households in need of housing support, of which 1,884 houses are supported under Decision No. 477/QD-UBND dated April 19, 2024; 102 houses are supported under Decision No. 230/QD-UBND dated February 24, 2025; 104 houses are supported under Decision No. 69/QD-UBND dated January 22, 2025. Identifying the elimination of NT and NDN as one of the important political tasks, contributing to the goal of all people having stable housing, peace of mind to develop production, improve the quality of life, towards sustainable poverty reduction, the district synchronously deploys solutions, determined to complete the goal of eliminating NT and NDN. In 2024, the Standing Committee of the District Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the District People's Committee to call for support for the "Fund to eliminate NT, NDN in the district" with over 2.3 billion VND; the commune level mobilized 230 million VND, supported 60 tons of cement and 2,235 working days to eliminate NT, NDN...

With the support resources of the State, the efforts and overcoming difficulties of households and the joint efforts and contributions of the community, from the central and local budgets, from 2021 to present, the district has supported over 44 billion VND to eliminate 1,412 households and households with disabilities; from social mobilization sources, over 8.9 billion VND has been supported to eliminate households and households with disabilities. Although the support resources are still limited, many households have built decent houses with counterpart resources many times larger than the support resources. Currently, the whole district has 466 households and households that are being and will be eliminated in the coming time, with 264 newly built houses and 202 repaired houses. Strive to complete the elimination of 100% of households and households with disabilities by the end of 2025.

Supporting the elimination of NT and NDN not only demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love and support", but is also one of the important and meaningful activities that greatly impacts the local socio-economic development, contributing to stabilizing political security and social order and safety. Each new house completed means that there will be one more poor household with stable housing, thereby feeling secure in working and production, rising out of poverty.
