On both sides of the road, business activities are "frozen", many families have their houses flooded by high tides, disrupting their daily lives.

Previously, the Southern Hydrometeorological Station predicted that from November 27-29 (October 15-17 of the lunar calendar), there may be a peak tide exceeding alert level 3 according to the high tide of the 15th day of the 10th lunar month.

Tran Xuan Soan Street (District 7) is the street that is often flooded the most during high tides. The flooding started at 4:30 p.m., but by 7:30 p.m. the water had not receded.

High tides cause flooding during rush hour, making it very difficult for people to travel.

Mr. Vuong Quoc Khanh (61 years old) was pushing water out of his house and said: “Every time there is a high tide, this road is flooded, so we can’t do any business, so we have to accept it. Raising the house regularly is not good either, because the high tide gets bigger every year, so there is no other way.”

Flood water like rivers makes it difficult for people to travel.
