WATCH CLIP:
On the evening of December 16, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that the Working Group of the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 had just used a special car to promptly take a newborn baby with respiratory failure to the emergency hospital.
Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. the same day, while patrolling and handling violations at Km 6 of Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway (Toll Station Km 6 +00), the working group of officer Nguyen Thanh Hai received a request for assistance from the driver of a car with license plate 19A-100.XX.
The driver of this car said he was taking a newborn baby to the emergency room but did not know the way and was worried that he would not make it in time, so he asked the traffic police for help.
Upon receiving the request, officer Nguyen Thanh Hai quickly checked the vehicle and saw two adults holding a newborn baby on oxygen. The baby's face was purple, showing signs of respiratory failure.
Immediately, the Working Group reported to the Team Command and used a special vehicle of the Traffic Police to take the family and the child to the Central Children's Hospital for emergency treatment.
Through the investigation, it is known that the baby's mother is Ms. TTBN (born in 1993, residing in Lam Thao, Phu Tho). The baby being treated is NGM (2 months old), diagnosed with respiratory infection leading to acute respiratory failure.
Thanks to being taken to the emergency room in time, the baby's health has stabilized.
