BTO-With his great contributions, veteran party member Nguyen Van Ngu (93 years old), a victim of Agent Orange/dioxin in Phu Trinh ward (Phan Thiet), has just been honored to receive the 70-year Party badge.
The Secretary of the Phan Thiet City Party Committee recently came to congratulate and present the 70-year Party membership badge to comrade Nguyen Van Ngu (born in 1930, hometown Ham Liem commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, currently living in KP5, Phu Trinh ward, Phan Thiet) on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22).
Party member Nguyen Van Ngu joined the army in 1948 and participated in the resistance war against the French colonialists and the Americans, belonging to Company 3, Regiment 812. He then transferred to work at Group 559, as Deputy Company Commander of Line 559; worked as a staff officer at Station 170, Head of the petroleum cluster and retired in 1971.
In 1955, he was honored to be admitted to the Party; currently on leave participating in activities at the Party Cell of Quarter 5, Phu Trinh Ward, Phan Thiet City.
It is known that during his work, he always strived to excellently complete all assigned tasks, maintain good relationships and solidarity with colleagues and the people.
Presenting the 70-year Party badge to party member Nguyen Van Ngu, the Secretary of the Phan Thiet City Party Committee wished him good health to continue promoting the revolutionary spirit, maintaining the noble qualities of a communist soldier; always being a shining example for cadres, party members, and the younger generation to follow.
