Awarding more than 10,000 scholarships to children of navy soldiers and fishermen

The Club “For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa” was established on August 1, 2014, chaired by former Vice President, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund Truong My Hoa. After 11 years of operation, the Club has mobilized nearly 100 billion VND, contributing to the implementation of many activities related to the sea and islands; awarding more than 10,000 scholarships to children of naval soldiers and poor fishermen.

Notably, the club selected hundreds of students who are children of officers, navy soldiers, and fishermen with difficult circumstances, and sent them to Ho Chi Minh City to study from grade 6 to grade 12...

Every year, the club members visit, give gifts and encourage the families of officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives at Gac Ma Island and DK1 platform; build dozens of gratitude houses and comrade houses for navy soldiers.

Club President Truong My Hoa said that in 2025, the Club carried out many practical and meaningful activities to spread love for the sea and islands, take care of the military's rear and connect hearts towards the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.

The club added 1 more collective member, bringing the total to 180 units, spread both domestically and internationally; at the same time, it admitted 148 more individual members, bringing the total number of members to 5,350.

Entering its 12th year of operation, the Club “For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa” continues to aim to improve the quality and efficiency of its operations with the spirit of turning towards the sea and islands through specific, practical and meaningful actions.
